This role involves leading structured learning programs that promote independence, mobility, and functional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish good rapport with children/ adults/ families.
- Motivate children/adults to reach their goals.
- Work closely with children/adults/ families to develop motor, cognitive, behavioral, social- emotional skills.
- Plan and deliver Conductive Education programs tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and other educators to create a holistic development plan.
- Encourage independence and confidence in participants through structured routines.
- Maintain records of progress and adjust programs as needed.
- Complete required documentation on time.
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and effective learning environment.
- Stay updated on best practices in Conductive Education and related therapies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Conductive Education (or equivalent Peto Institute qualification).
- Experience working with individuals with motor disabilities.
- Strong understanding of neuromotor development and rehabilitation principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Good physical stamina to facilitate children/adults, and to perform job related activities.
- Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- CPR and First Aid certification (required).
